Production Steps

Have you ever wondered what happens to your online printing project when you place your order? How does it go from print-ready file to finished product? In other words, what’s the print job path and who makes it happen? Here is the step-by-step of what happens after you click submit at checkout:

  1. Your production file and all related order information is posted to Brandly's internal dashboard to be reviewed by our staff. Simultaneously, our system sends you a confirmation email indicating we have received your order.
  2. Within hours, your order is visually inspected for issues that might prevent if from being sent to production. Typically, these are typos, misspelled words, or similar content issues but it could also be print-production issue that crop up from time to time.
  3. If we find a problem with your order, you will be notified immediately. If everything looks good, your job is sent to production whereupon it is scheduled for production based on the product type and the final shipping destination.
  4. Your job is usually in production within 24 hours of placing your order online, and for most products, it's ready to be shipped in 2 - 3 days.
  5. The steps for print production within the plant are
    1. automated order-entry,
    2. production-scheduling including what machines and when
    3. printing
    4. finishing
    5. packaging and
    6. shipping
  6. When your job ships, an automated shipping confirmation email is sent with a tracking number so you can track your order to your doorstep.
